Welcome to my studio, a place where I explore the concept of beauty, writing and literature, shoes and shoemaking--and all the combinations in between.

Beauty opened my life. I started shoemaking as a way to research this novel. Now, as a shoe designer, I create works of wearable visual art. As an expert, I speak about women's fashion and shoes. More importantly, I speak to the issues that I examine in my novel--beauty at the intersections of race, gender, and stereotypes.
